Deep : Depending on who is using the term, bone pain can be used to describe a pain that seems very deep, as opposed to something more superficial, or the term can be limited to pain that arises from the bone itself. There are other potential causes of deep pain other than pain from the bone including pain from a pinched nerve in the back (radiculipathy).
