What is the definition or description of: round ligament pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Round ligament: The "round ligaments" (one on each side ) support the uterus. When the uterus is enlarged (with pregnancy or tumors, for example) movement of the body will allow the stretching of one or both "round ligaments" and cause a pain in one side or both abdominally. It is not harmful, just annoying.
