A member asked:

When i give birth im worried that i'm gonna push to much and give my self a bleed on the brain from the straining. is this unlikely to happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely to happen: If on the news there are weekly reports of women dying from exploding blood vessels during childbirth, it's time to worry. Until then, dying is childbirth in a developed country is very unlikely... and is just one of the risks of living on planet Earth. As they say, "Don't sweat the small stuff." One may feel safer by delivering in a hospital that has an intensive care nursery for babies.
