Probably yes: Some UTIs show up negative on culture, but this often means the bacteria causing it are just present in lower than usual amounts. A positive urine culture usually has 100,000 bacteria per ml of urine, but sometimes it's under 10,000, which the lab may report as negative. However, other things can mimic UTI in women, especially chlamydia or other STDs. Best to check with your doctor.
