A member asked:

I was smoking and i inhaled a burning/on fire particle. what if it is still in my lungs burning? is it anxiety or can a fire be present in my lungs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Another good reason: This is another good reason to never smoke anything again. Inhaling the byproducts of burning organic material, plus whatever other chemical substances have been added, is plain unhealthy. If one has quit smoking, and he exhales (breathes out) but no longer sees smoke coming out, then there is no fire in the lungs.
