Costochrondritis?: Is the pain associated with certain movements? If so, it may just be from a sprain in the rib cage which may improve with NSAID. If it is associated with exertion and you have elevated blood lipid , blood sugar, and/or elevated BP (also pos family history of heart disease), an exercise echo may be warranted since the EKG is not sensitive enough.
