A member asked:

With subacute lymphocytic thyroiditis, is it common to have lymph node irritation during a hyper flare up?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. John Chiu answered

Possible: Since most thyroiditis cases are considered of autoimmune origin and the lymph nodes are the sites of immune response, it would not be unusual to find lymph enlargement although this would not be the most obvious feature.
