Aortic root diameter: The normal range for adults is 2.2 - 4.7 com (22-47 mm), so you are right in the middle. The more important question is why did you have the procedure in the first place? Has there been a change in the diameter compared to prior studies? Your cardiologist sounds like he/she spoke correctly.
