You may: have an esophogeal SPASM or STRICTURE (Narrowing) You can try a H-2 blocker (example PEPCID AC or ZANTAC (ranitidine) ) OTC and use an antacid liquid (Maalox, Gelusil) until your endoscopy! Hope this helps! Dr Z
