I'm going to request a barium swallow this week, but 8 weeks post nissen and when i swallow i have a gurgle and what seems to be excess saliva. albeit, less than before surgery. am i being impatient and should watch this for a few months to assess?

Post op: These important symptoms should be reported to the physician who performed your procedure. The barium swallow is important to do but let the physician direct the workup.

Nissen performed in July. Symptoms so much better, but I can hear a gurgle up after I swallow at night. It a lot less than what it was before surgery, but I am refluxing. Redo nissen now? Or monitor for Barrett's and wait?
7 weeks post Nissen. Day time reflux cured, but am having nighttime reflux. I swallow and hear a squeak that sounds liquidy, not nearly as bad as pre-op. To verify wrap is good: Barium? motility test? Or two soon to tell if gerd is back?
