Doctor can evaluate: The words "hard to breath" and "chest pain" may mean an emergency. If so, one can call for an ambulance that can provide oxygen and monitoring on the way to the ER. The doctors will rule out heart attack symptoms and pneumothorax (collapsed lung). If it turns out to be rib cartilage pains (costochondritis) or heartburn (gastric reflux), that can be treated too. Other causes are also possible.
