Rib pain: If d-dimer is negative rules out clot( only rare exceptions). Pressing chest causes pain ? may be costochondritis, responds to motrin /antibiotics- I give zithromax for mycoplasma. May be gas(try simethicone), reflux (try ranitidine/ prevecid-Check H pylori ), if deep inside could be gallbladder as well, lastly cardiac ( rare in young person) consider EKG. f/u w/ doc
