Ensure not that safe: It is as safe to drink Ensure while on Macrobid as at any time but I do not recommend Ensure; the first 3 ingredients are water, corn maltodextrin and sugar. It has canola and corn oil and soy that are almost certainly genetically modified and thus best avoided. If you want a nutritious drink I advise going to the health food store and getting a good quality non-gmo protein powder with vitamins.
