Furadantoin/ethanol: Occasionally the GI side-effects of nausea, vomiting and discomfort which can be seen with furadantoin may be worsened if the patient is drinking alcohol. If the furadantoin is well tolerated there should be no contraindication to drinking alcohol. Use your best judgement.
