Unrelated: Asbestos exposure is not associated with thyroid disease. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Unrelated: Even a lawyer won't try to push a relationship. Our generation was around the stuff as kids but actually inhaled very little and thus don't have real risk. Thyroid disease isn't related to asbestos is the good studies. We do ourselves and our neighbors wrong by focusing on low-risk exposures from the past. Glad you recovered from the thyroid tumor. Best wishes.
