A member asked:

What is the procedure for iron infusions for anemic patients? how does it work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Easy stuff: Iron deficiency is one cause of anemia and I trust that the cause has been identified. Especially, I hope you are not a non-supplementing vegetarian. Oral iron supplements can upset the gut. The old-time iron injections hurt but the new infusions just involve a needle stick. You'll feel much better. Glad it's getting done.
