Yes: Most women eventually stop having periods after they have been on depo for 3-6 months but bleeding in the month or two after you get the shot can be irregular and unpredictable.

Generally yes: This is a common response to Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) use particularly at the start. You may bleed everyday for a month or two without concern though it is frustrating. You will likely lose less blood than a normal me atrial cycle. You started the shot at just the right time. If the flow increases significantly or you become dizzy, lightheaded or weak present to your doctor or ER but this is very unlikely.

No cause for alarm: DepoProvera will provide you with a very effective way to reduce your risks of pregnancy but is likely to cause you to bleed/stain irregularly or not have any vaginal bleeding at all. This is not unusual and should not be a cause for concern.
