Dysphagia, ab pain&indigestion for 3mo. egd hints linear furrows and biopsy found 1 eosinophil. 40mg prilosec per day isn't working. any suggestions?

Needs repeat: At your age, will need repeating the biopsy in another month or so to be sure that your don't have eosinophilic esophagitis. I had a patient whom I suspected to have EoE despite two separate biopsies being negative. The 3rd one was the charm and he has responded to the 6-food elimination diet thus far.

Update on my previous question.. serious heartburn, difficulty swallowing and excruciating pain in the upper chest. I have MS and take Omeprazole 20mgs daily. Drinking coffee is hard to swallow. Help!??
