Cardio-phobia?: Stress and anxiety can cause chest pain without underlying cardiac disease. You describe very high levels of anxiety (phobia). Does heart disease run in your family? Have you lost someone to a heart attack? If all tests are normal, consider CBT psychotherapy from a psychologist trained to deal with medical conditions. Phobias can be very disabling, but help is available. Good luck!
