I've had chills cold sweat and red throat for about a week now but doc won't give me antibiotics as crp is 4.7 i feel run down don't know what to do?

Get a consult: C-reactive protein is not appropriate to rule out strep throat (my major concern) or infectious mono (for shock antibiotics are not indicated). Chills are even more concerning. Without a diagnosis after a week, get with a physician who is sensible enough not to base a diagnosis of someone who may be seriously sick on a famously unreliable lab test.
