Miami-Dade county: It depends on the specific part of Florida. The only areas of Florida where Zika is carried by the local mosquitoes are two areas of Miami-Dade County. In addition to the previously identified area in the Wynwood neighborhood, there is now mosquito-borne spread of Zika virus in a section of Miami Beach. It doesn't get cold enough there in fall/winter to kill off mosquitoes. Look at www.cdc.gov
