May not be yeast: If you are not responding to yeast medication then this is a sign it may not be a yeast infection. Your doctor can do a yeast culture to see if you have a type of yeast that is resistant to typical medications. They should evaluate for STDs, contact dermatitis, lichen sclerosis, lichen simplex chronicus and other vulvar disorders.
