It Depends: If you have had symptoms including abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, or even fevers, you should see a surgeon for consideration of removal of your gallbladder. If your gallbladder is not causing you any problems, you can generally leave it alone. This warrants a proper discussion with your physician based on your other medical problems..

Depends: Are you having symptoms of discomfort or bloating and nausea from the gallstones? If there are no symptoms, you can watch the gallstones. If you are having problems from the gallstones then see your surgeon to evaluate for laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This is a very common occurrence after gastric bypass and weight loss.
