Get 5mg: If you get 5mg finasteride, use a pill cutter to make 4 pieces, you will save much money. The generic 5mg pill is much less costly than the 1mg, then you get 4 doses from each. The dose need not be precise. So 8 pills last 1 month, 30 pills last 4 months., 90 pills last a year.
