my sons right jugular vein pops out all of the time. it's more prominent than the left one. is that normal?

Prominent jugular : He needs to see a doctor and may need further work up including CT scan of neck and chest to rule out any mass causing pressure on jugular vein. He may need an echocardiogram also.
