Cough headache: You may or may not have a primary cough headache. The anatomical region you describe is the temporal area overlying the zygomatic arch. Try cough medicine and ibuprofen for symptomatic relief and if the headache persists or is associated with visual changes or if it is severe and started all of a sudden see MD.
