What are the side effects of making a tattoo on my body ? is it cancerous?

Your choice: There are seldom side effects and they do not cause cancer. I have three, and each is precious to me. If you get inked before age 30, keep it very simple-- the name of a relative, or someone who has passed on, or very small. Best wishes.
