A member asked:

Could males pass trichomoniasis through semen ? and who is the main carrier for it .. how do females actually get this ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sexual transmission: Trichomonas is harbored aysmptomatically in the male prostate gland and is transmitted with sexual intercourse to the female at ejaculation who then develops itching and a vaginal discharge. Both parties have to be treated simultaneously for the treatment to be effective prior to the resumption of intercourse.
