Predisposing factors: Boils are bacterial infections of hair follicles, usually staph. Drainage from one boil can infect nearby hair follicles, especially in the presence of predisposing factors like diabetes, ingrown hair, excessive moisture and immune deficiency. Get checked out to rule out predisposing factors.
