Good news: Dense breast tissue makes a mammogram less useful; this is why your doctor got an ultrasound also. It sounds like the ultrasound was normal -- (clusters of dense breast tissue can be normal) -- so all you need to do is return each year to make sure there are no changes and tissue still healthy.
