Low Magnesium: Low magnesium (m) levels can cause, muscle spasms, tics, weakness, low calcium and potassium blood levels as well as dangerous cardiac irregular heart rhythms. Patients on diuretics are more apt to develop this problem than those not on them. See your doctor for more advice, or if you have symptoms go to the nearest er for IV m administration.
