Swollen throat: Many conditions can effect throat including strep throat. Check for fever. Does Aleve (naproxen) help? Drink only cold and eat popsicles. Clear.ease lozenger www.hydromedonline.com are used to reduce swelling. they are proteolytic enzymes of papain and bromelain. Usual dose of one 4x a day works well.
