Avoiding tylenol (acetaminophen) tox: Goody's Extra Strength contains 260 mg of acetaminophen. Hydrocodone comes in 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg doses with 325mg, 500mg, 750mg and 1000mg of acetaminophen. Please check your prescription bottle for the amount of acetaminophen per pill. Tylenol can be taken every 4-6 hours with max less than 2 gm/24hrs recommended to avoid liver toxicity. Divide 2000mg by the pill strength = max doses per day.
