Is it to do with blood flow, when i get pain over my carotid and vertebral artery - right side, associated with terrible migraines?

No: The old notion of migraines being caused by variations in blood flow due to arterial constriction and dilation was disproved decades ago. Any pain you're feeling over those places (I suspect your anatomical knowledge needs work) is "referred" from pain-sensitive structures in the cerebral meninges.
