See a doctor: It could be scabies. You may be able to see the burrows or visualize the tiny nits or organism. If scabies can be treated with prescription nix (permethrin).

Peripheral neuritis: You are describing the symptoms of someone who has irritation of the sensory nerve endings. This may be related to diet, use of alcohol, drugs or withdrawal from them or skin irritants like chlorine. Patients with dermatitis will sometimes complain of this type of skin irritation. Dry skin may aggravate. Use adequate lotion, good water intake of over 8 cups/day and good diet. See md if cont.S.
