Infection of hair: Folliculitis is an infection of the hair follicle. Sounds as if you also have other symptoms--? Itching, or discharge--depending on symptoms, could be std's or vaginitis or vulvar vestibulitis (a condition causing pain with intercourse and tenderness to the touch of a qtip at the opening of vagina). Discuss with your dr who did the biopsy.
