Depends: When to return to school varies with the kid. Provided swelling and pain are ok, i usually allow child to return with activity restrictions, specific instructions for the teacher regarding elevation, etc. At that age, i usually recommend several weeks at home. Any further questions, ask your surgeon for specific recommendations.
