A member asked:

Potatoe from dinner last night sat out for around an hour before it was refrigerated, i had some for breakfast, i'm scared i'll get botulism and die?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Definitely not: Potatoes aren't linked with botulism. Home canned foods are, as well as other canned foods that appear 'bursting' before you open them. It sounds like you probably have some health related anxiety- so I would talk to your doctor about that.
