Complicated: Hi APhillips, you could either have post concussion symptoms, otolith dusfunction, inner ear dysfunction, or a few other complicated diagnoses. The important thing is that it is getting better. To make sure the proper diagnosis has been been made, you should be following up with your doctor regularly. Especially after trauma to the head. Hope that helps.

Trauma: Even seemingly trivial head injuries can cause posttraumatic symptoms of headache and lightheadedness. If there are severe headaches, continuing dizziness, frequent nausea or vomiting or visual disturbance, you should be examined by a physician who will order a brain cat scan if it is deemed advisable.
