A member asked:

My 10 month old has bruise like spots on the tips of 2 of his toes. no one can tell me what it is. everything is coming back fine. no fever etc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Capillary hemorrhage: Small blood vessels in the outer layers of skin called capillaries, are fragile, and as a result of any kind of pressure on the toes, say a tight baby shoe, can break and leave tiny pigmented spots as they heal. This is not something to be alarmed about, and should fade over time
