Hx of irregular cycles. today found out i'm 6 weeks pregnant. i have chronic complex migraines for which i take 40mg of percocet a day. i have taken as perscribed for the last 6 wks. i will stop but i am worried about damage thus far. ?

Unlikely: There is a theoretical risk of damage with any drug used in pregnancy. However, from experience, fetal malformation is usually not seen with legally prescribed opioid drugs. More common is withdrawal symptoms in the baby after birth with long term use of opioids. Also, there is a risk of low birth weight but this is more common with illicit drug use.
