Can taking 20 mg of lexapro (escitalopram) and drinking 5 beers nightly harm your liver?

Yup: 60 oz nightly is a lot of anything - Lexapro (escitalopram) is not good to mix with any alcohol, a beer=a drink and one or two is a good limit and any 'daily' drinking raises alerts. So you've got lots to be concerned about. Read: http://www.liver.ca/liver-health/liver-disease-prevention/tips-for-healthy-liver/alcohol-consumption.aspx Please avoid SSRI mix - then cut back amt/freq. Sorry but true!
