Watching hair grow: Hair normally grows in phases and, unless you've been ill, those phases are not synchronized. That's why you will almost always be shedding some hair. The damaged roots may shed after traction ends. Look closely in the areas of alopecia, if after 1 month you do not see any new tiny hairs growing you might need to go back to your doctor.
