Yes: You can do a urine test. If it comes back positive however I would recommend getting a blood level as they are more accurate. Depending on how far along you were when the abortion was performed, it can take awhile for your body to clear the HCG hormone completely. If the HCG level reaches a plateau then it's possible there are retained products of conception. Might need a repeat suction procedure
