For nearly 10 years i haven't reconnected with the world or even people much. is this normal? how can i reconnect again?

Reconnecting: Wanting to reconnect is great. Have you considered reaching out to friends and family with whom you have had relationships in the past? Also, taking part in old & new hobbies may be another way to get connected. You might also want to consider talking with a therapist about what caused you to withdraw and how to make sure that you don't find yourself withdrawing again.
