Possibly: There are some conditions that can cause pain and swelling in multiple joints. This can include inflammatory conditions associated with viral or bacterial infections; and inflammatory arthritis conditions as well. "Pinched nerves" in the neck can also cause pain that runs down the arm across multiple joints. Consider being seen for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.
