Is a mri 100 percent accurate? i had a knee mri that showed nothing wrong. but i am having locking of the knee joint and shifting, giving way pain

No test is 100%: Although an MRI is a good test it can miss an Abnormality. For example a locking knee can be caused by a torn meniscus that flaps. At the time of the MRI it could have been laying back in place. Talk to your ortho. You may still need a scope
