Sometimes . . .: Checking for H pylori is a different & separate test than checking for blood. Your doc can order one w/o other. H pylori is an infection of stomach that can increase risk for ulcer but there are many reasons besides stomach ulcer for blood to appear in stool.

No: When stool is tested fro H pylori its not tested for blood. They are different tests and are done for different indication.
