Sorry about that!: Nail glue is basically a form of Super Glue or Crazy Glue and, as you know it hardens & bonds very quickly. Application of vegetable oil may soften the glue and isn't an eye irritant. However, the oil may interfere with the doctor's ability to manipulate the eye lid & assess damage to your eye, so it's best that someone drive you to the doc ASAP! Dr. Anne
