Swimmer's ear: To prevent swimmer's ear, use a capful of rubbing alcohol poured into ear with head turned towards that side and wait for a few minutes until no bubbling sensations or noises, then allow the alcohol to drain out onto a towel with your head upright. This is a good method to get the water out. If that doesn't work, then a doctor's visit for treatment of swimmer's ear is the next step.
